The Samskrit Education Society, established in 1956, stands as a distinguished non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and propagation of Sanskrit, one of the world’s most ancient and profound Indian knowledge traditions. The Society was founded by the revered Vaidhyasri S. V. Radhakrishna Sastrigal, whose vision was to make Sanskrit learning accessible and meaningful to people from all walks of life. The organization was blessed and inaugurated by the lotus hands of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peethadhipathi, Pujya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Sankaracarya Swamigal, whose guidance and blessings continue to inspire every initiative of the Society.
For decades, the Society has worked with unwavering commitment to nurture the intellectual and cultural richness of Sanskrit. Through a combination of traditional gurukula-style teaching and modern educational approaches, it offers programs that span foundational Sanskrit learning, Shastric studies, Vedic literature, philosophy, and advanced research.
